About Orange County Chinese Ladies Group

Orange County Chinese Ladies Group (OCCLG) is an all-volunteer group organized to promote volunteerism by actively contributing in community activities. This group started with 28 Chinese ladies in February 2013 as a hiking group. The official name was given in January 2015 as “OCCLG” since it has grown to have 250 members. They not only continue to meet every Thursday for hiking, but also actively are involved in community events, such as the Chinese New Year event for the seniors in Mission Viejo Norman Center, Mission Viejo Art Alive event, Irvine Great Park Food Bank, and Chinese cultural art and craft display in the Mission Viejo public library. The group is growing and will be noticeable throughout Orange County.
