About Greater Orlando Asian American Bar Association
The Greater Orlando Asian American Bar Association is a voluntary organization that was incorporated on October 19, 2009 to represent the interests of Asian American attorneys, law students, and other legal professionals in the Greater Orlando area. The genesis of GOAABA began several years ago, when attorneys Jessica Hew and Stephen Chong discussed the idea and the need for Orlando’s first-ever Asian American bar association.
GOAABA is a voluntary, non-profit organization which represents the interests of Asian American attorneys, law students and other legal professionals in the Greater Orlando area.
The mission of the Greater Orlando Asian American Bar Association ("GOAABA") is to represent and advocate the interests of the Asian Pacific American community of the Greater Orlando area, to encourage and promote the professional growth of the members of GOAABA, to facilitate client referrals and to broaden professional opportunities for Asian Pacific American attorneys, to foster the exchange of ideas and information among and between the members of GOAABA and other members of the legal profession, the judiciary and the legal community, and to coordinate legal services to Asian Pacific American communities in the Greater Orlando area.
